Karlin has been lately one of the most dynamically growing areas in the Prague city. One of the reasons is the fact that during the 90s had been closed down industrial production in this area so large amount of buildings has lost its primary function. It has established a possibility for new investments, especially into the buildings and land. So the original industry properties are now being kindly renovated for business and residential living. And the newly released land is used for a development of modern shopping and administrative centers with a very good infrastructure going along. Some of the projects can be seen at www.karlin.cz.

Residential part of Karlin, especially around the Lyčkovo square, offers a wide variety of art nouveau houses from the beginning of the past century, connected with the parks of Kaizlovy sady and Vítkov. The combination of business and quiet residential areas makes this district very attractive. All that very close to the Prague center and the Vltava river.

Very good transport accessability / 15 minutes to the centre by walk, 5 minutes by car / metro B line (Křižíkova station) metro C line (Florenc station) / tram 8, 24 lines (directions - center of Prague, Prague Castle ...) / Florenc bus terminal / 30 minutes to the airport / good connectivity by car to the Prague inner circle.
